Mrs. Ruth Mitchell Apple, 82 died Wednesday in her residence in which she had 
lived since 1923.  She had been ill the past 30 years.
She was born in St. Paris March 3, 1894, a daughter of Oliver P and Estella 
McMorran Mitchell.
Mrs. Apple married B.T. Apple, Feb 15, 1923.  He died December 1968
A former school teacher, she was a 50-year member of the St. Paris First 
Baptist church, a member of Jewel Temple No 307, Pythian Sisters and Diamond 
Chapter No 84, OES.
Mrs. Apple was a former member of the board of trustees of the St. Paris 
Public Library.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Apple of St. Paris and several nieces 
and nephews.
Her body was taken to the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral home where 
friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday.  Service willbe in the funeral 
home at 1:30 pm Saturday.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
