Robert Bodey Barger, 76 of 7935 Troy Rd, died Monday, June 18, 1984 at 2:30 
P.M. in Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Champaign County on October 12, 
1907, a son of James M and Margaret (Bodey) Barger. He was preceded in death 
by three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Edra Catherine 
(EVILSIZOR) BARGER after 57 years of marriage; two daughters, Carol Coy, 
Houston Texas, Patricia Barger, Springfield; six grandchildren, Jeff Coy, San 
Antonio, TX, Noel Coy, Austin, TX, Tracy, Kim, Natalie Rector, Springfield, 
Ted Rector , serving in the US Navy, stationed in San Diego, Calif, several 
nieces and nephews. He had retired from International Harvester Corp after 45 
years of service. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, North 
Hampton, the A.A.R.P, and the Elderly United. The Rev John Wilson from the 
First Christian Church and Ward McFarland from the First Church of god will 
officiate. Services will be held at the Jackson Lytle and Coffman Funeral 
Home, Thursday at 1:30 P.M. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home 2-4 and 
7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Terre Haute Cemetery.
