St. Paris--Mrs. Vernal Berry, 78, died in Champaign Nursing Home Saturdya
afternoon.
Mrs. Berry was born in Scioto County Dec. 7, 1793, a daughter of Henry and Nannie
Willis

Mrs. Berry was born in Scioto County Dec. 7, 1793, a daughter of Henry and 
Nannie Willis Beekman.
She attended Waverly schools and lived in Champaign County most of her life.
She was a member of St. Paris First Baptist Church and was a cook at the Troy h
home before her retirement.  She was the widow of Orla Berry.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Camilla)Kessler of Dayton; three 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a brother Robert Beekman of E
East Flat Rock, N.C.
Services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday in the Baker Funeral Home by the R
Rev. Claremont Hoyt, pastor of First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery
