Maybelle Marie (Rutherford) Berry, 87, of Westville went to be with the Lord at 
12:01 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007 in Mercy McAuley Center. She was born Feb. 2, 
1920 in Cheshire, Ohio, a daughter of Roscoe and Lucy (Spencer) Rutherford.



She married Samuel B. Berry on Feb.16, 1946. Maybelle was a member of the 
Westville United Methodist Church where she served for over 50 years.



She is survived by her children Robert (Janet) Berry of Springfield, Sharon 
(Jim) Burroughs of St. Paris, Charles (Carol) Berry of Belle Center, Don Berry 
of Westville; four grandchildren, Paula Blue of St. Paris, Greg (Shannon) Berry 
of St. Paris, Ryan (Julie) Berry of Fairborn, Lindsey (Andy) Fultz of Fairborn; 
seven great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great 
grandchildren; a sister Velma Davis of Urbana and a brother Charles Rutherford 
of Bellefontaine.



	Preceded in death by her husband Samuel B. Berry on July 9, 1985; three 
sisters, Thelma Rutherford, Lula Mae (Billie) VanHoose, Eleanor Ganson; three 
brothers, Clarence Rutherford, Cecil Rutherford, John Seldon Rutherford; three 
brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law.



She was a loving Christian wife and mother. She will be sadly missed by 
everyone who knew her.



The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in 
the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 
11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 in the Westville United Methodist Church, 76 N. 
state Route 560, Westville with the Rev. Alice Kay Hoover officiating. Burial 
will follow in Nettle Creek Cemetery.



Contributions may be made in Maybelle's memory to the Westville United 
Methodist Church, to Mercy McAuley Center, 906 Scioto St. Urbana, OH 43078 or 
to the Community Mercy Hospice, 1343 N. Fountain Blvd., Springfield, Ohio 45504.
