BISHOP, Berneda LuEllen 81, of Urbana, died at 12:27 A.M. Saturday, December 
4, 2010 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center after a courageous fight 
against Hodgkins Lymphona and other complications from the cancer. She was 
born June 1, 1929 in Greenfield, OH. She was a daughter of H. Richard Waddell 
and Vienna (Current) Waddell Stout and of step daddy Dorn Stout. Berneda was a 
1948 graduate of St. Paris High School and a 1949 graduate of Springfield 
Business School. She worked and retired from various financial institutions 
throughout Champaign and Clark County. Berneda was a member of the Concord 
United Methodist Church and Concord United Methodists Women. Her other 
activities included Urbana Business and Professional Women's Club, Senior 
Citizens Center, and the Champaign Ladies Red Hat Club. Her hobbies were being 
outside working in her yard and planting various flowers. She was 
a "bookkeeper" throughout her life, always organizing and trying to work out 
the details whenever she was involved with an activity.. She was a Past Matron 
of Caroline Chapter # 39 Order of the Eastern Star, past president of O.E.S. 
District 18 and was a Grand Representative of Connecticut in Ohio (1998-1999). 
Survivors include her 5 children Mike (Barb) Bishop, Marsha (John) Pinter, 
Mark (Christine) Bishop, Molly (David) Bradley, Melanie Bishop; 9 
grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
husband Kenneth "Bud" Bishop and her parents. The family will receive friends 
4:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 
642 S. Main Street, Urbana, OH . Eastern Star Services will be conducted at 
7:00 P.M. Thursday. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 10, 
2010 in the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Engle officiating. Burial will 
follow in the Terre Haute Cemetery. Berneda and her family would like to thank
