Barton Lee "Bart" Bodey, 54, of Urbana died Monday August 27, 2012 at 8:25 
p.m. in Mercy McAuley Nursing Home of an extended illness of two years.
He was born November 7, 1957, in Urbana, OH. He was the son of Richard P. and 
Nadyne (Doughman) Bodey, of Indian Lake, OH, who survives. 
He married Lori Masters on October. 2, 2003, and she survives. His first wife, 
Amy Cody, survives in Kettering, OH.
Bart also is survived by daughters, Katy Bodey, of N.C., Kori (Ben) Kirkmeyer 
of Urbana, Marjorie Bodey of Urbana, Teona (Carl) Herrion of Mechanicsburg, 
son, Jeremy Custer of Columbus, grandson Vincent Kirkmeyer and granddaughter 
Skyler Herrion.
He is also survived by one brother, Doug (Vera) Bodey of Lima, one niece, Abby 
(John) Branan of Indian Lake and their daughter Khierstyn Branan, three 
nephews, Rick (Emile) Bodey of Akron, Michael Bodey of Cincinnati and Elijah 
Bodey of Bowling Green, one uncle, John (Deloris) Bodey of Indian Lake, an 
aunt, Barbara Moffitt of Bellefontaine, and cousins, Steve Bodey of Urbana, 
Tonya Wampler of Florida, Todd Bodey of London, OH, Gary Bodey, Brian Bodey, 
Gloria Bodey, all of Urbana, Jan (Jeff) Short of Akron, Roderic (Connie) 
Moffitt of Defiance.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Foster and Thelma 
Doughman of Urbana and Paul and Anna Bodey of St. Paris, uncles and aunts, 
Charles W. and Erma Bodey of Urbana and Russell (Duke) and Marilyn Bodey of 
Urbana and Than Moffitt of Bellefontaine. 
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, in the 
WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, with family receiving friends following 
the services until 6 p.m. 
The Rev. Kevin Horrigan will officiate. Following the wishes of Bart, he was 
cremated. 
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Barton to the Community Mercy 
Hospice, 444 W. Harding Rd., Springfield, OH 45504-9964.
