Although her illness had been considered serious, she seemingly was improving up to within a few minutes of her death when a sudden turn in her condition resulted fatally. Funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev C H LARUE, being assisted by Rev E D SMITH. Interment was made at Spring Grove cemetery. The following obituary was read at the funeral services: Amelia Matilda KIZER BODEY was born on the old KIZER home- stead, north of St Paris, June 21, 1894. She died September 30th, 1918, at her home in St Paris. On October 23, 1917, she was united in marriage to Oliver F BODEY. To them was born a daughter, Roberta Amelia. In January 1912, she accepted Christ as her Savior and on Easter of the same year was received into the Methodist Episcopal church. True to her profession, she has lived a beautiful christian life striving earnestly to make her life a blessing to all. There are left to lament her departure, her husband and infant daughter, her parents E G KIZER and Iola BATDORF KIZER, a sister Alta KIZER, 3 grand parents David BATDORF, Amelia BATDORF and Matilda KIZER, besides a number of other relatives and a very large number of friends.
