Mrs. Sarah A. (Sally) BOTKIN, 85, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday in her residence 
following four years' failing health and one month's serious illness. Her 
husband, L. K. Botkin died Jan. 7, 1944. Mrs. Botkin was born in Concord 
Township, Champaign County, June 14, 1867, a daughter of Daniel and Margaret )
Peneton)Bruner. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church of North Hampton, 
the WSCS of that church, and the North Hampton WCTU Organization.  The body 
was taken to Don A. Neff funeral home, Urbana, and will be returned to the 
residence Friday evening where friends may call. Services will be held at 2 
p.m. Sunday in Asbury Church by the Rev. Raymond Konkright, pastor, assisted 
by the Rev. Charles Cramer, former pastor. Burial will be in Newson Chapel 
Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the 
services, during which the casket will be closed.
