Mamie Amelia BOTKIN, Age 94, of 9663 Cowpath Road, St. Paris, formerly of 6494 
Dialton Road, Springfield and more recently a resident of the Champaign 
Nursing Home, Urbana, died Tuesday, December 19, 1989 at 2:05 p.m. in Mercy 
Memorial Hospital, Urbana following a lengthy illness. She was born near St. 
Paris on February 6, 1895, a daughter of the late James Albert and Millie 
Amelia (Stone) Beck. She was a member of the Newson Missionary Church, St. 
Paris. Her husband Paul E. Botkin preceded her in death on April 11, 1964. 
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Newson Missionary 
Church, St. Paris with the Rev. Allen Sudmann officiating. Burial will follow 
in Newson Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Richeson-
Wickham & Atkins Funeral Home, St. Paris and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time 
of services in the church.
