Lulu F. BOWERS, 86, formerly of 8881 Stott Road, New Carlisle, Ohio died 
Sunday, December 18, 1994 at 5:45 a.m. in Dayview Care Center. She was born on 
September 5, 1908 in Champaign County, the daughter of Franklin and Agnes May 
(SCHAFFER) STOTT. She was a member of the St. Paris First Church of God. 
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Gene PENCIL of 
Springfield, Ohio and Geneva and Paul WALKER of Farmland, Indiana; nine 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Joan BOWERS of St. 
Paris, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl 
Franklin BOWERS who passed away October 1, 1968; two sons, Robert Franklin 
BOWERS and Harold Eugene BOWERS; two brothers; and one sister. Funeral 
services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 1994 at 10 a.m. in St. Paris 
First Church of God with Rev. James Fleming officiating. Burial in Newson 
Cemetery, Saint Paris, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 1994 
from 4-8 p.m. in the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral Home, St. Paris. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Paris First Church of God 
building
