Bums. TO, retired farmer and far-mer livery stable and auto dealer of this village, died at his home three miles southeast of Rosewood at 11:50 p. m. Friday following several years of falling health. He was prominent In this section of Cham-paign County and was a former Adams township trustee. He had removed from St. Paris a number of years ago after operating first a livery stable and then later an auto sales firm here, purchasing the farm and residence where he died. He had only recently bought a residence here and had planned to move to St. Paris Friday when his condition became critical earlier this week. His wife Minnie preceded him in death four years ago. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Hahn of St. Paris; a son, Cleon Burns of Los Angeles and a granddaughter, Brenda Lou Burns, also of Los Angeles; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Kite of St. Paris. Rites will-be conducted at the residence at 2:30 p. m. Monday, Rev A. O. Long officiating, with burial in Spring Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the residence tonight Sunday and until the hour of the funeral Monday.
