The Urbana Daily Citizen   abstract
Richard H. Burnside, age 68, of Saint Paris passed away on Sunday, November 9, 
2008 at 10:38 a.m. in his residence.

He was born on April 27, 1940 in Miami County, the son of the late Wilbur H. 
and Fanny Kathryn (Gorman) Burnside. He married on October 17, 1958 

Richard is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter and son-in-
law, one granddaughter, four step grandchildren, one great grandson, and five 
step great grandsons 

Richard was a 1938 graduate of Christiansburg-Jackson School. He retired in 
1994 after 34 years with B.F. Goodrich in Troy. He was also a member of the 
Troy Fish and Game. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 
11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road, near 
Christiansburg with Reverend Bonita Wood of the Tipp City United Methodist 
Church presiding. Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, 
Saint Paris, Ohio is serving the family.
