BUTCHER, Kristin Marie 37, of Springfield died Monday, February, 26, 2007, at 
Heartland of Urbana from complications associated with a nearly five year 
battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). She was formerly employed as a nurse's 
aid at The Campbell House in Bellefontaine. She attended the Berea Bible 
Church in Springfield and was a 1987 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School. 
Kristin enjoyed cooking, reading, and working puzzles. She loved cats and 
traveling and will be remembered as an independent woman with a mind of her 
own who was always on the go. She dearly loved her family. She was born May 
12, 1969, in London, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her maternal 
grandparents, Charles and Ruby Byrd Brashears, her paternal grandparents, 
Conrad and Donna Call Butcher, and an uncle, Dan Reuwee. Survivors include her 
daughter, Sydney Danielle Butcher-Click, age 12, of Springfield; her mother, 
Wanda (Charles) Brashears Ricketts, South Vienna; her father, John W. Butcher, 
London, and his close friend, Phyllis McFadden; three brothers, John "Greg" 
(Julie) Butcher, St. Paris; and Ben Ricketts and Brad Ricketts, each of South 
Vienna; her sister, Emily Ricketts, South Vienna; two step-sisters, Catherine 
Ricketts, Savannah, Georgia; and Annemarie Ricketts, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 
two nieces, Stephanie and Abigail Butcher; four aunts: Janet (Robert) 
Espenschied, New Philadelphia; Barbara Reuwee, Liberty, Missouri; Carolyn 
(Jim) Cullen, Rye, New Hampshire; and Elizabeth Brashears, Marysville; two 
uncles, Bob (Sharon) Brashears and Bill Brashears, each of Marysville; many 
cousins; and close family friends, Daniel and Sandi Click, Springfield. A 
Celebration of Kristin's Life will be held Friday, March 2, 2007, at 2 p.m. at 
Heartland of Urbana, 741 East Water Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078 with calling 
hours held one hour prior to the service. Reverend Gary Day will officiate and 
burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery,
