The Piqua Daily Call   abstract
Jean I. Cardo, 80 of Piqua passed on at 11:45 p.m. Thursday November 20, 2008 
in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born November 24, 1927 in Miami 
County to the late Willard P. and Hazel (Stapleton) Buroker.

Survivors include two sons, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a 
brother, She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Buroker.

Mrs. Cardo was a graduate of Brown Twp. School. She retired from the A.O. 
Smith Company of Tipp City in 1973. Following a time in Florida, she returned 
to Piqua and established Jean's Place until her retirement in 1995. She 
enjoyed her family, many friends, Nascar, and was an avid fan of the Miami 
Dolphins, and Cincinnati Reds.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the Jamieson 
& Yannucci Funeral Home. Private burial will be at the convenience of the 
family at Honey Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice 
of Miami County, Inc., P. O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373 or American Cancer 
Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206.
