Faye Castle, 54 of Urbana, passed Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the Ohio State 
University Medical Center Columbus.

Faye was born May 27, 1953 in Paintsville, KY the daughter of the late Frank & 
Pina (Fletcher) Castle.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Clinton Castle, five sisters, 
Sue Caudill, Melinda, Helen, Mabel & Sylvia and five brothers, 
Ernest "Crackerbill," Andrew, Fred, Carl E. & Woodrow.

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Gary Castle, her son, 
Clint (Brittany) Castle, her daughter, Pina (Melvin) Melms, her three 
grandchildren that she cherished, Allison & Ethan Melms and Avai Castle all of 
Urbana; her mother-in-law, Irene Castle of Urbana; her brothers, Frank 
(Dottie) Castle of Ulysses, KY, Terry (Shirley) Castle of Tutorkey, KY & Joe 
(Allison) Castle of London, OH; her sisters, Mildred Roberts of Urbana, 
Juanita Copas of Springfield, Marg (Roy) Salyers of Thealka, KY, Betty (Kenny) 
Stambough of Stambough, KY, Edna (James) Arms of Eastpoint, KY and Libby 
Castle of Eastpoint, KY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews of several 
generations.

Faye was employed at the Wellington Nursing and Rehab Center for over 23 
years. She liked working and helping the residents of the Wellington. She 
enjoyed cross stitch and attending & watching Kentucky university ball games. 
Faye's favorite thing to do was playing and spending time with her 
grandbabies. She was always the rock of her family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, 
March 14, 2008 in the Vernon Funeral Home Urbana. Funeral service will be 
10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 in the funeral home. Burial will follow 
in Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana
