Bernice L. Collins, 75, of Urbana, Ohio, died at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 
2013, in her residence.
She was born July 19, 1937, in Greenup, Ky., a daughter of John and Nellie Mae 
(Watkins) Grayson.
She worked as a cook at Millner’s Cafeteria.
Bernice is survived by daughters Ruth Ann Ball of Bellefontaine, Brenda (Bruce) 
Holycross of Bellefontaine, Karen Sue Stotler of Urbana, Tina Moore of Urbana; 
son Gerald “Jerry” Stotler, Jr. of Springfield; a granddaughter whom she raised 
from birth, Bernice J. Nye of Springfield; sister Ruth Ann Garris of Cable; 
brother Billy Ray Daniels of Springfield; many grandchildren and great-
grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Grace “Peggy” Cook, 
Juanita Gilbert; brother Mort Grayson and two grandchildren and a great-
grandson.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013, in 
the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St, Urbana, where a service will 
be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug McConehea officiating. Burial will follow in 
Nettle Creek Cemetery, Westville, Ohio.
