Piqua Daily Call dated 5-Sep-1977 pg 14  
Mrs. Gwendola N Comer, 74 died at 8:30 am Piqua Memorial Hospital following an 
extended illness.
Born in Miami county, Jan 1903, she was the daughter of Worley and Effie 
Thackery Evilsizor.  She was married Feb. 1922 to Robert B Comer.  He died in 
1973.  She was a member of the Piqua Baptist Church and had been a resident of 
the Baptist Home for the past three years.
She is survived by a son, Birgil R Comer of Brookville, five grandchilden, 
eight great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. William Monger(Lucille) of 
Sidney, Mrs. Arliss Moore(Alice) of Troy and Mrs. Harold McDonald(Christina) 
also of Troy. A sister is deceased.
Services Suber Funeral Home by Rev Terry McKenzie with burial in Spring Grove 
Cemetery
