Willie E. Conn, 75, of St. Paris, passed away at 11:37 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 
17, 2009, in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
He was born on March 15, 1934, in Soldier, Ky., a son of the late Harve and 
Minda (Tomlin) Conn.
He married Dollie Ferguson on Oct. 30,1952, and she survives. Together they 
raised four children, Loretta (Ronald) Grise of Piqua, Danny (Penny) Conn, 
Dennis (Debbie) Conn and Gary (Griselda) Conn, all of St. Paris. He was a 
great dad and a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 15 great 
grandchildren. He also is survived by one sister, Georgie Pelfry of Olive 
Hill, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and three 
sisters. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Willie was a member of the Trinity Community Church of Covington, a lifetime 
member of the Troy Fish & Game and the United Paper worker International 
Union. He worked for the St. Regis Paper Company, Troy for 43 years, retiring 
in 1998.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Atkins-Shively 
Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, with the Rev. Michael Gross 
of the Trinity Community Church, Covington presiding. Burial will follow in 
Rosedale Cemetery.
