Rita K. CONNOLLY, 78, of Springfield, died at 5:25 p.m. December 17, 1998 in 
Mercy St. John's Center. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 22, 
1920, the daughter of Otto and Carrie ROLFES MOORMAN. She retired in 1974 
after 20 years of service with Mercy Medical Center as a registered nurse. She 
was a member of St. Mary Catholic church...Survivors include three children 
and spouses, Mary A. CONNOLLY, James K. and Peggy CONNOLLY, Patrick J. and 
Cathy CONNOLLY, all of Springfield; six grandchildren and spouse, James G. 
CONNOLLY and Erin Leahy, Jennifer CONNOLLY, Brian CONNOLLY, Amy BAKER, Erin 
CONNOLLY and Tara CONNOLLY; two great-grandchildren, Makayla and Alexandria 
BAKER; sister Mary TAPKE; and brother, Otto MOORMAN, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; 
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James 
B., in 1984 and a sister, Ruth WIECHMAN. Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral mass in 
St. Mary Church. Burial in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana, Ohio.
