Born on December 7, 1915, in Champaign County, near Westville, Ohio, Ruby was a daughter of the late John W. and Sarah E. (Park) Ford. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence F. Nesselrotte, and second husband, Ray Coon, and her companion of fifteen years, Paul Hindenlang. Ruby is survived by a grandson, Joe (Bree) Nesselrotte, two great-grandchildren, Mackenzia and Macia, all of Tennessee, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Nesselrotte of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and special friends, Patty and Steve Martin of Westville and Shirley and Terry King of DeGraff. She was a 1935 graduate of Urbana High School. Ruby and her husband Clarence Nesselrotte bought property in Westville and built their home where she lived until October 14, 2011. Ruby enjoyed gardening and was a past member of the Mad River Valley Garden Club. Her yard yielded many flowers and plants. Other than gardening, Ruby loved doing ceramics, puzzles, word searches and she was an avid reader. Ruby was a former member of the Westville United Methodist Church, where she worked as the church secretary for 26 years. After her retirement she and her companion, Paul Hindenlang, attended Myrtle Tree Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, husbands and companion, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Nesselrotte, and a brother, Robert Ford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio, with Reverend Chuck Glover of the Westville United Methodist Church presiding.
