Bom on Oct. 26.1916, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Tillie (Linebaugh) Cost. She married Stanley Maurice Geuy on Oct. 26, 1934, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1986. Catherine is survived by one daughter, Sandra Cottrill, of Urbana, and daughter in-law, Sue Geuy, of 1 Urbana. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren, Robert (Lori) Weaver, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., ' Kimberly Weaver, of Carlisle, Pa., Annette Griffith, of Urbana, Nikki (Roger) Borst Jr., of Urbana, Michelle (Rob) Bashore, of Urbana, Lynette (Matt) Maxson, of Rosewood, Ryan (Kristen) Geuy, of Jackson Center; and eight great¬grandchildren, Thera, Davin, Leah, Logan, McKalia, Paige, Kaiden and Clayton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Geuy; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Weaver; two brothers, Ralph and Junior Cost; three sisters, Velma Warman, Elizabeth Chappell and Jean Detrick; and two sisters in-law, Wanda Haney and Oneta Licklider. Catherine was a 1934 graduate of Harrison-Adams High school. She was formerly employed at Graham Local School as a cafeteria worker. Catherine was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Rosewood Homemakers Club. She enjoyed crochet, sewing, ceramics and gardening. The family would like to thank all the staff at McAuley Center for their love and care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, St. Paris, with Chaplain Nancy Hardin, of the McAuley Center, presiding. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, North Ohio 235, Conover. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the McAuley Center Activity Fund or Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
