CRABILL, Sara Louise 80, of Springfield passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 
in the Ohio Masonic Home. She was born November 7, 1931 in Terre Haute, Ohio, 
the daughter of Warren and Mary (Blue) Rhodes. Sara was a member of the Terre 
Haute United Methodist Church. She worked at Crowell Collier in her earlier 
years and enjoyed bowling and golfing. Sara will always be remembered as being 
fun loving. She had a great sense of humor and touched many lives. She will be 
sadly missed by her beloved family and friends. Survivors include one daughter 
and son-in-law, Kimberly and Daryl Steen of Hilliard, Ohio; two sons and one 
daughter-in-law, Monty and Sherry Crabill of New Carlisle and Scott Crabill of 
Springfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Zelma and Robert Lockwood of 
Urbana, Ohio; three grandchildren, Barry Crabill, Julia Steen and Corry 
Crabill and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by 
her parents; husband, Roger B. Crabill in October of 1994 and two brothers, 
Harold and Nelson Rhodes. The family would like to thank the staff at the Ohio 
Masonic Home for their provided care and assistance. A gathering of family and 
friends will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. in the 
LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 
a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend David Yinger officiating. Burial will 
follow in the Terre Haute Cemetery.
