obit-The Urbana Daily Citizen 23-May-2011 Julia M Cutler, age 92, of Heartland of
of Piqua passed away at 8:50 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Born in Scioto Co, Ohio on July 20, 1918, Julia was a daughter of the late W
William Jackson and Kathleen (Poole) Pitts. Julia married George W Culp and he p
preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Darlene and Frank Jackson of 
Saint Paris; Charlotte and Howard Cutcher of Sandusky, Ohio; Juanita and John 
Banner of Medway; and Wiladene and Raymond Frayley of Kentucky. She was a 
loving grandmother to Larry, Penny, Teresa, Sonya, Chad, Gayle, Jason, Darla, 
Ray, Wesley, Shane, Bradley, Irene, Shawn, Kenny, Kirk, Julie and numerous 
great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. A sister, Nellie (Bill) 
Canter of Sandusky and a brother, Aniul (Edith) Pitts of Jackson also survive. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Helen Motter, son-in-law, Robert Motter, brothers, George, Russell, Or
Orville, Beckham, Raymond, and Virgil Pitts, sisters, Betty Pitts and Alberta Cu
Culp. Julia retired in 1982 from Grimes Aerospace in Urbana. She loved to plant ga
gardens and enjoyed canning produce from her garden. She was granny to her own gr
grandchildren, and also to all the neighborhood kids as well. She enjoyed co
cooking big meals and watching everyone eat. She also liked to travel. 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the Atkins Shively F
Funeral Home, 216 S Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Chaplain Candy N
Null of Dayton Heartland Hospice presiding. Burial will follow in Spring Grove C
Cemetery.
