DAVIS, Helen Marie age 92 of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 
2010 at the Eaglewood Care Center. She was born July 11, 1918 in Falls City, 
Nebraska, the daughter of the late James & Mary Jane (Drysdale) Martin. Helen 
was a long time resident of Champaign County and a member of St. Marys 
Catholic Church in Urbana. Preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Davis in 
1974, 4 brothers and a sister. She is survived by 2 sons Damon Davis of 
California, James Davis and wife Susan of Springfield, 4 daughters Sharyn 
Morris of Springfield, Karryn Hart and husband Milbert of DeGraff, Libby 
Edwards and husband Gary of Cable, Connie Miller and husaband Mark of 
Springfield, 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 21 great great 
grandchildren, a niece Debbie Galuska of Washington, as well as other family 
members and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 
30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana.
