Denver "Mike" Dale Davis Sr., 71, of St. Paris, passed away at 6:36 p.m. 
Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Feb. 25,1935, in Jackson, the son of the late John and Pansey 
(Pritchard) Davis. He married Janice Yvonne Pence on Aug. 27,1952, and she 
survives. He also is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Denver 
D. Davis Jr. of St. Paris, Dean and Judy Davis of St. Paris, Don and Barb 
Davis of Kingston and Dan and Mandy Davis of St. Paris. He was a loving 
grandfather to four granddaughters, Niki, Missy, and Danielle Davis all of St. 
Paris, and Maggie Davis of Kingston. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. 
He was particularly close to his nephew, Delbert Davis and his family of 
Christiansburg.
Six brothers and six sisters preceded Mike in death.
He retired from B.F. Goodrich in Troy. Mike loved to be around people. He 
enjoyed attending Graham sporting events where he often sold tickets for the 
football games.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Atkins-Shively Funeral 
Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, with family friend Howard Fisher 
presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the 
funeral home.

available in the funeral home
