abstract
John C Dovel, 86 died at his on Millerstown-Eris Road at noon on Monday.
A retired farmer he had lived in the Millerstown area for 80 years.
He was born in Champaign County, Jan.2,1885, the son of Russell and Effa 
Offenbacher Dovel.  His wife, the former Nellie McGovern, died in 1963
Mr. Dovel was a former member of the Concord Methodist Church, The Beechwood 
Grange of North Hampton and the Up-to-date Grange of Concord.
Surviving are one son Russell, two daughters Mrs John Kouse(Ruth) and Mrs 
Forrest Rogers(Beulah).  A daughter, Mrs Lucille Armstrong died in 1967
Services in Richeson-Wickham Funeral HOme by the Rev James Yates. Burial will 
be in Spring Grove.
