The Urbana Dily Citizen abstract
DRAKE, Lyndal E. 94, of New Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2006 
at 12:20 p.m. in Belle Manor Nursing Home, New Carlisle. She was born on May 
5, 1912 in Clark County, the daughter of the late Samuel M. and Mary (Collins) 
Drake. She was a 1932 graduate of Christiansburg-Jackson High School, St. 
Paris. Lyndal was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, New 
Carlisle and she was a farmer all of her life. Lyndal is survived by two 
nephews and a niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 
five brothers: Don, Paul, Milton, Kenneth, and Herbert Drake, and two sisters: 
Zelda Heckman and Lillian Jenkins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 
August 23, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the ATKINS-SHIVELY FUNERAL HOME, 216 South 
Springfield Street, Saint Paris, with Tom Roberds of the Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah's Witnesses presiding. Burial will follow in Upper Honey Creek 
Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road, Saint Paris.
