The Piqua Daily Call   abstract
Geneva Dulen, 76, of Piqua, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, 
in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1929, in Silver Hills, Ky., the daughter of the late 
Gobel and Thelma (Pendleton) Jones.

She married the Rev. Woodruff L. (Brub) Dulen on July 13, 1948, and he 
preceded her in death March 10, 2000.


In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Marine Pfc. 
Rendle Dulen, who was killed in Vietnam; and a sister, Martha Cantrell. 

Geneva was a member of the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church of Urbana. 
She retired in 1992 from Upper Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed quilting, 
crocheting, raising a garden and canning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Pleasant Hill Primitive 
Baptist Church, 615 N. Oakland St, Urbana, with Pastor Tennison Dotson 
officiating and assisted by Elders Hesker Gillum and J.C. Hager. Burial will 
follow in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery near Christiansburg. Visitation for 
family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday in the Pleasant Hill 
rimitive Baptist Church. A service will be held at 7 p.m.
