EICHMAN, Elizabeth M. (Armer) age 91, a resident of Springfield passed away 
March 5, 2012 at Ohio Masonic Home. She was born on October 8, 1920 to the 
late Benjamin and Phyllis (Gearhart) Armer in Clark County, Ohio. In addition 
to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 
years, Reuben Eichman; a daughter Joy Jean (Eichman) Maurer; 3 brothers: 
George, Ben, and Donald Armer and 2 sisters Charlotte Spees and Jean Campbell. 
She is survived by her son Milton (Mary O'Brien) Eichman; a brother David H. 
(Marilyn) Armer; a son-in-law, David C. Maurer; grandchildren: Aaron, Burke 
and Paul O'Brien-Eichman, Minda (Gary) Schomberg and Randy Maurer ; 5 Great-
Grandchildren: Tyler, Dustin, Lexie, Matthew and Adam as well as numerous 
nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a member at Faith Lutheran Church and later 
practiced her faith at the Masonic Home. She was a member of the DAR, an 
Eastern Star, Clark County Historical Society and a volunteer at the 
Pennsylvania House. Elizabeth was the owner of Aloha Salon in Springfield for 
many years before retiring and starting her favorite hobby of Genealogy. Her 
life was based around her family and was a devoted and loving mother and 
grandmother and for that she will be truly missed by all who knew her. Funeral 
services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at JACKSON 
LYTLE & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Springfield with Rev. Bruce Vincent officiating. 
Burial Terre Haute Cemetery.
