The Urbana Daily Citizen-abstract
Asenath A. Erwin, age 95, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006 at the Green Hills 
Care Center. 

Asenath was born Oct. 10, 1910 in St. Paris to the late James and Ida Barger. 
She wed William Erwin on Oct. 18, 1930, and they were married nearly 62 years 
when he passed in 1992. 

She and William farmed together for about 46 years. She also worked as a cook 
for Graham Local Schools. She was an active member of the Concord United 
Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Asenath is survived by her children, Marvelene and Eugene Kizer of Urbana, 
Robert and Nancy Erwin of Bellefontaine, Ron and Kathie Erwin of Troy, Don and 
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. 
in the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, Urbana where a service will be held 10 
a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Wayne Engle will be officiating. Burial will follow in 
Concord Cemetery.
