Piqua Daily Call dated 25-Jan-1938 pg 8
St. Paris Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Richeson 
Funeral Home for Perry Everingham, 65, who committed suicide at his home on 
West Main St lat Saturday morning.  Rev Ralph Wright officiated at the rights 
with burial being in Evergreen Cemetery.
Everinghams' body was found hanging by a rope at the deceased's home by 
Charles Ayers, a neighbor who had gone there to deliver groceries.  Infront of 
the suspened body was picture of the deceased;s mother who died last fall.  
Nearby were three notes addressed to friends telling of his despondency.  He 
was proceded in death by his parents, Mary & Joseph Everingham and a brother, 
Cory, who also died by self-destructioin.  He leaves no immediate relatives.
