Eunice (Groves) ,100, of 1511 Grimes Avenue, Urbana, Ohio, died Tuesday, 
January 1, 2002 at 1:15 p.m. in the McAuley Center. She was born on June 9, 
1901 in Champaign County to William and Emma (Towler) Groves. She was retired 
farmer and grocery store owner. She is survived by her son Edward (Margaret)  
of Urbana; 12 grand-children, Larry (Karen) , Ron (Marcia) , Cheryl (Jim) 
Ferrier,  Dennis , Sonja , Hurt (Pam) , Brett (Lorie) , Scott (Glow) , Jan 
Rider R, Nancy (Keith) Jackson, Bruce (Deanna)  and Beth (Paul) Madsen; 33 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death 
by her husband, Loren ; son Harry  and three brothers. She was a member of the 
Urbana United Methodist Church, Fellowship Circle, Grandmother Club and M.A.U. 
Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in 
Walter-Schoedinger Funeral Home, ....Urbana where funeral services will be 
held 10:30 a.m. Friday. Burial to follow in Terre Haute Cemetery
