She married Boyd Fannin, Jr. on December 21, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2006.Together, Mary Lou and Boyd raised four boys, Jim (Connie) Fannin of Urbana, Johnny (Kathy) Fannin of St. Paris, Jeff (Lisa) Fannin of Urbana and Jody Fannin of Urbana. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Teresa (Mark) Donnin of Troy, Mary Ann (Mark) Farrell of Troy, Jimmy (Heather) Fannin of Urbana, Heather (Josh) Kemp of St. Paris, Ashley (Paul) Godwin of Springhills, Brittany (Brian) Rice of St. Paris, and Julie Fannin of St. Paris; and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Wayne Hardin (Gert) Ball and a sister, Sarah Jane (Ralph) Brown all of West Liberty, Kentucky, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Terry Lynn Fannin and two brothers, Ransom and Silas Ball. Mary Lou was a founding member of the Christian Worship Center and worked for many years at the Country Kitchen in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday in the Christians Worship Center, 3537 S. Elm Tree Road, Saint Paris, Ohio at 1 p.m. with her son, Reverend Jim Fannin presiding. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the church on Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.
