Saundra L. Feathers, 64, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 3:10 a.m. 
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in her
residence.
She was born Feb. 26,1941, in Montra, the daughter of the late Frank and Opal 
(Baker) Myers. She married Leroy Feathers on Feb. 2,1961, and he survives. 
Saundra was a loving mother to five children: Kathy Simpson of Troy, Steve 
(Annette) Feathers of Sidney, Mark Allen (Cheryl) Feathers of Summerville, 
S.C., Dennis (Michelle) Feathers of Rockhold, Ky. and David Feathers, who 
passed away April 19, 2005. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; two sisters, Thelma Staugler of Piqua and Barbara (Bill) 
Stewart of Conover; two brothers, Kenneth (Sue) Myers of Troy and Butch 
(Linda) Myers of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her 
parents and son, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Feathers.
Saundra was a Miami East High School graduate. She attended the Upper Valley 
Community Church of Piqua and was employed by Koester Pavilion, Troy. She 
loved her church and enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday in the Atkins-Shively Funeral 
Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, with the Rev. Paul Jetter presiding. 
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris. Visitation will be held two 
hours prior to the funeral service, beginning at 10 a.m., in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Valley Community Church, 1400 
Siedel Parkway, Piqua, OH 45356. Envelopes will be available in the funeral 
home
