FENTON, Iris "Christine" age 75, of Urbana passed away at 11:50 a.m. on 
Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Community Hospital, Springfield. "Christine" was 
born on February 3, 1933 in Lawrence County, Ohio, the daughter of the late 
Virgil and Ferne (Massie) Callicoat. She married Donald "Neil" Fenton on June 
16, 1951 and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1995. Christine is 
survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Fenton of 
Bainbridge, Ohio and Roger Fenton of Troy; two daughters and a son-in-law, 
Elaine Fenton of Urbana and Tia and Keith Stryker of Terre Haute, Ohio. 
Christine is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one 
brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Deloris Callicoat of Sarasota, Florida, 
and a sister-in-law, Claudia Callicoat of Urbana. In addition to her parents 
and husband, Christine was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Fenton, one 
brother, Lawrence Callicoat, and two grandsons, Brandon Evans and Matt 
Anderson. Christine graduated in 1951 from Westville High School. She retired 
in 1998 from Uhlmans in Urbana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 
November 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. 
Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Reverend Bonita Wood of the Tipp 
City United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Oak Dale 
Cemetery, Urbana
