The Urbana Daily Citizen-abstract
Darlene C. Ferryman, 83, of Urbana, died at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 
2013, at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born on March 23, 1929, the daughter of Roy and Minnie (Eby) Coakley. 
Darlene graduated from Broadway High School, retired from Drackett and worked 
for Wakenhut Security at Honeywell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William T. Ferryman on 
Nov. 2, 2004; sisters, Joanne Predmore and Maxine Purdy; and three brothers, 
Neil “Bud,” Kenneth and Paul.
Family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 in Walter & 
Smith Funeral Home, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, where a service will be held at 2 
p.m. with Linda Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery
