Donnabelle Fischer, 75, of Marysville, died peacefully Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 
at the OSU Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital with her family at her side 
following an extended illness.
She was retired from Harding Machine, East Liberty, where she worked in 
assembly for more than 27 years.
She and her husband, Herb, volunteered at the Indian Lake State Park 
Campground for five years, and she loved country music and playing cards with 
her card club from the Indian Lake area.
She enjoyed the companionship of her many Boston terrier dogs, 
especially “Katie” and “Piper,” but more than anything treasured the love of 
her family.
She was born Nov. 19, 1936, in Lewis Center to the late Harry and Martha Biggs 
Rogers. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Lewis Edwards, her 
brother, Glenn Rogers and a step-brother, Carl Edwards.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Herbert “Herb” Fischer, to whom she 
was married on May 6, 1967, in Middleburg; her children, Mike (Alyce) Heminger 
of Richwood, Gary Heminger of Grove City, Donna Jean (Lawrence) Nott of Cable, 
Wayne (Tammy) Heminger of Morrow; Pastor Herb (Linda) Fischer of Marysville 
and Tammy (John) McKinley of Phoenix; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-
grandchildren; her sister, Roberta (James) Moore of East Liberty; a sister-in-
law, Margaret Rogers of Englewood; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, 
where the funeral begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jim Gardner 
officiates and burial is in Oakdale Cemetery.
