Thursday morning of last week. Some months ago he suffered a lighter but similar attack and seemingly had about recovered. Born in Adams township, November 25, 1887, he was the son of William and Rosa Frank. His marriage to Miss Mae DeRemer took place January 25, 1911. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Horace Green of Urbana rural route and two grandchildren, William and Margaret Green He moved to St. Paris in 1926 when he became associated with the L. K. Jones Undertaking establishment. He attended the Columbus Training School for Embalmers from which he graduated, and became a licensed undertaker and embalmer June 12, 1924. After acquiring the undertaking interests of Mr. Jones, he opened the Frank Funeral Home in 1935, having purchased the B. F. Baker home for his quarters. Mr. Frank for many years served as church treasurer of the First Baptist church, of which he was a member. He belonged to the St. Paris Knights of Pythias order, the Masonic and Eastern Star lodges. He held member-ship in the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and Ohio Embalmers Association. Funeral services were held in the Frank Funeral Home at 2:30 p. m. Sunday.The Rev. Rex G. Van Court, was in charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. Noel Whitis and Rev. Clarence DeRemer of Rosewood. Hymns were sung by Miss Madge Burkimer, accompanied by Miss Betty Whitmore; and Mrs. Marion Stevens, accompanied by Miss Pauline Gentis. Those acting as pallbearers were the following undertakers: Jud Wilkins, West Liberty; Robert Humphreys and Jerry Jones, Urbana; Oscar Kerr, Sidney; Osten Richards and Byron Ferman, Springfield. A number of other undertakers attended the service. Undertakers in charge were the Suber service of Fletcher, the Richeson-Wickham firm of St. Paris and Humphreys of Urbana.
