Fueston, 100, formerly of St. Paris, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, in Koester Pavilion, Troy. Born on Dec. 17,1 909, in Sidney, she was a daughter of the late Frank Warren and Julia (Benson) Duffy. She married Jack F. Fueston on Oct. 28, 1929, and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1989. Mrs. Fueston is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne and Darrell Thompson of St. Paris and Jayne and Don Jones of Tipp City; five grandchildren, Diane (Tom) Jess of St. Paris, Darren Thompson of Encinitas, Calif, Jeffrey (Doris) Jones of Tipp City, Jay Jones of Tipp City, and Julia (Paul) Scheele of Littleton, Colo.; six great-grandchildren, Jaci (David) Murray, Jenni (Chris) DeMarco and Janelle Jess (fianc6 Daniel Bey), all of St. Paris, and Mathias, Eva, and David Scheele of Littleton, Colo.; four great- great-grandchildren, Jessica Murray, Kelsey, Carter and Hunter DeMarco, three step great- grandchildren, nine step great-great-grandchildren, and four step great-great-great-grandchildren; and five half brothers and sisters. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Duffy; two sisters, Marjorie Wolfe and Josephine Johnson; and two infant sisters. Mrs. Fueston was a 1927 graduate of Greenville High School and a member of the St. Paris United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Friendship Class. She and her husband, Jack, co-owned and operated Fueston's Super E Market in St. Paris until 1964. Mrs. Fueston also served as a cashier in the cafeteria at Graham High School. She was a member of the Urbana Chapter 530, Order of Eastern Star, a former member of Diamond Chapter 84 Order of Eastern Star, and Pythian Sisters Jewel Temple 307 and their past Chiefs organization, both of St. Paris. She was a former member of the Champaign County "Swinging Seniors." Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 1 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, North High Street, St. Paris with the Rev. Dave Kepple of the St. Paris United Methodist Church presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs Fueston's name to the St. Paris United Methodist Church, P.O.
