GEARHART, Minnie Alice 81, of Springfield passed away February 11, 2005 in 
Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born July 15, 1923 in Greenfield, Ohio 
the daughter of Burton Voss and Minnie Morgan Rose. Mrs. Gearhart attended 
Story Hypes United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering at Mercy Medical 
Center. She retired from the Springfield News and Sun after 25 years of 
service. She is survived by her: sister, Ruby Davis of Chillicothe, Ohio; step 
daughter, Pamela (William) Swaim; two step grandchildren. She is preceded in 
death by her first husband, Joseph Kessler; second husband, Paul Gearhart; 
stepson; four brothers; and four sisters. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday 
in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The funeral service will be at 2 
PM Tuesday in the memorial Home. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery
