Geuy, 68, 17900 State Route 706, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at 6:25 p.m. at his home. He was born Dec. 8, 1932, in Rosewood, the son of Christian F. and Ida May (Bodey) Geuy, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 23, 1955, he married Barbara A. Blake, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Robert B. of Sidney, a daughter, Julia K. Kolling of Versailles; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Ruth Stoker of Sidney. He was preceded in death by a sister. Mr. Geuy retired as a firefighter with the city of Sidney in 1981, after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Sidney Moose Lodge No 568, the Newport Sportsmen Club, Shelby County Antique Power Association, Shelby County Deer Hunters Association and was an usher at the First United Methodist Church since 1955. He had been a member there for 46 years. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Chris Heckaman and Kathy Reiff officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home. The Sidney firefighters will have a memorial service at 7:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
