The Urbana Daily Citizen
Walter Donald "Don" Gunsaulies, 73, of Urbana, died at 8:41 P.M. Monday, 
November 16, 2009 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born October 9, 
1936 in Champaign County, a son of Floyd and Gladys Elizabeth (Page) Berry.

Don was a graduate of Westville High School, retired from the US Air Force, 
having served during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of American Legion 
Pearce-Kerns Post 120 and the Urbana VFW Post 5451.

Survivors include his daughters, Helen Czajka and her fiancé John Ellis of 
Inwood, WV and JoAnne Beam and her husband Craig of Satellite Beach, FL, 
grandchildren, Caitlin Shifflett, Rene Cheatham and Joseph Jarosz, great 
grandchildren, Eric, Aubrey and Alahnna Cheatham, sisters, June Jackson and 
her husband Howard of Gainesville, FL, and Evelyn Woodruff and her husband 
Robert E. Woodruff of Gainesville, FL, brother, Nelson Gunsaulies of 
Mechanicsburg, OH, special friends, Dewey and Mary Casto and Charles "Pinky" 
Pendleton, and his beloved dog BJ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul Gunsaulies of 
Gainesville, FL.
