Vernon Funeral HOme
Marvin Charles Hart, 76, of Urbana, passed away, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in 
Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana.
He was born December 7,1934 in Springfield, the son of Wilbur and Lena M. 
(Swartbaugh) Hart.
Marvin was a 1953 graduate of Westville High School. He retired from Navistar 
after 36 years of service. He was a member of the North Hills Church of God in 
Springfield. Marvin never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his 
grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Marty (Yvonne) Hart of Pataskala and Dave Hart of 
St. Paris, his daughters, Marva (David) Pettit of Pickerington, Ketha (Jim) 
Pence of St. Paris and Neola (John) Tullis of Urbana; his grandchildren, 
Jennifer, Jessica and Michael Hart, Aaron and Ryan Hart, Dustin, Cody, Kayla 
and Kalen Tullis, Trey, Trevor and Tory Pence; brother, Carl (Mary Evelyn) 
Hart of Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Helen 
Lewis.
I He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delores (Macy) Hart; his 
daughter, Mary Anne Hart; his brother, Donald Hart and his twin sister, 
Mildred (Donald 'Buck') Robinson.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 
2011 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 11 
a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the funeral home with Pastor Seth Ross 
officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the North Hills Church of God building fund, 2950 
Moorefield Road, Springfield 45502. Condolences may be expressed to the family
