St. Paris Glenn L Hoes, 56, of Millerstown, grocery owner and operater at 
Millerstown, died at 11:15 pm Thursday in Stouder Memorial Hospitalin Troy.  
He had been ill five months and entered the hospital five hours before his 
death.
Born in Williamsburg, Nov 27, 1909, he was a son of Cleveland and Katie 
Gardner Hoes.  He married the former Almay Hiney, 39 years ago.  She survives 
with four children, Robert of Hamilton, Glenn of Piqua, Andrew at home and 
Mrs. Judith Biddle of St. Paris and eight grandchildren
Mr. Hoes was employed as maintenance man at the IOOF Home in Springfield in 
addition to running the store in Millerstown.  He was a member of the Lower 
Honeycreek church.
The Rev. Charles Heslan will conduct services at 2 pm sunday in the Richeson-
Wickham Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery
