The Urbana Daily Citizen abstract
Roy J. Horner, 73, of Troy, died Friday, August 5, 2005 at Harborside 
Healthcare in Troy. 
He was born July 9, 1932 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Roy Lee and Nellie 
(Dyer) Horner. 
He married on June 9, 1951 and she survives. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson, Trevian Kendall. 
Mr. Horner retired in 1982 from B.F. Goodrich in Troy after 30 years of 
service. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Troy. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home in 
Troy with Pastor Dale Christian officiating. Burial will be at Upper Honey 
Creek Cemetery in Christianburg.
