Funeral Home
IRELAND, Marvin L. 75, of Urbana passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 in his 
residence. He was born May 11, 1932 in Terre Haute, Ohio the son of the late 
Clifford and Bertha (Longanecker) Ireland. Marvin owned and operated Ireland 
Plumbing for over 30 years. He was a member of the Urbana United Methodist 
Church and the MaGrew Knights of Pythian Lodge #433 in Westville for over 50 
years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann; his children; Marva 
L. (Clay) Beaver of Urbana, Lu Ann (David) Krause of Medina, Jerry (Karen) 
Ireland and Lori (the late Tom) Campbell, all of Urbana; 11 grandchildren and 
10 great grandchildren; his sister-in- laws and brother-in-laws, Pauline 
Ireland of North Port, FL, Marilyn Leopard, Richard and Joyce Stickley and 
Lawrence and Virginia Fenton all of Urbana, numerous nieces and nephews of 
several generations, as well as good friends, Robert and Zelma Lockwood and 
Judy and the late Milford Faulkner. He is preceded in death by his parents, 
his brothers, Edwin and Bill Ireland. A gathering of family and friends will 
be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 in the Vernon Funeral Home 
Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 
2007 in the funeral home with the Rev. Sam Wollum officiating. Entombment will 
follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
