St. Paris News-Dispatch 24-Oct-1940
Mrs. Amanda F. JENKINS, 76, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at her
home, four miles north of New Carlisle, she leaves two sons, Charles E.
JENKINS,Springfield, Route 2, and J. C. JENKINS, New Carlisle, Route 2; four
daughters, Mrs. William BISHOP, Springfield, Route 2; Mrs. Earl ANDERSON of New
carlisle,Route 3; and Delia JENKINS, at home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Carrie 
DOVEL of St. Paris, Route 2; a sister, Mrs. Alice BRIGGS of Tipp City; a 
brother, Marion APPLE of Troy; 27 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Her 
husband preceded herin death on Feb. 28 1939. Funeral services will be held 
Saturday at 2 p.m. form theresidence with Rev. Russell Dittmar in charge. 
Burial will be in Spring Grove
cemetery near St. Paris.
