Funeral Home-abstract
Miriam Maxine Jenkins, age 84, of Saint Paris passed away at 5:25 a.m. on 
Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Vancrest, Urbana.
Miriam was born on January 1, 1928 in Piqua, Ohio. She was a daughter of the 
late Warder and Nina (Kite) Stevens. She married William “Bill” D. Jenkins on 
February 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2004. Miriam was 
a 1945 graduate of Christiansburg-Jackson High School and a member of the 
Grafton United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend their 
gratitude to the staff at Vancrest of Urbana for the loving care they have 
provided to Miriam since 2006.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 
from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at noon in the ATKINS-
SHIVELY FUNERAL HOME, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris with Reverend 
Edward Groff and Reverend Mark Atterholt presiding. Burial will follow in 
Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris
