Marjorie “Margie” Darlene Johnson, 59, of West Liberty, died Wednesday, Aug. 
20, 2008, in her residence. 
She was born in Piqua on May 17, 1949, a daughter of the late Charles Cory and 
Doris Hilda Durand Friend. She also was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy 
Johnson. 
Survivors include children, Jeri (Jason) Heater, Kristina (Robert) Montroy and 
Chad (Kelly) Johnson, all of Urbana; grandchildren, Emily, Luke, Gracie, 
Caleb, James “J.J.,” Brandon, Amy, Marcus, Mary, Chase, Aleena and Josiah; a 
sister, Sandra (Terry) Ferguson of Troy; and many nieces and nephews. 
A Graham High School graduate, she was employed by Champaign Residential 
caring for others until she became disabled and couldn’t work. She was an 
active member of loving her children and grandchildren “unconditionally.” 
The Rev. Floyd Lundy conducts a funeral at 10 a.m. Monday at Walter-
Schoedinger Funeral Home, Urbana, where calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. 
Burial follows in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana
