TROY - Clyde Elwin Jones, 74, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, 
Oct. 23, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born on June 24, 1938, in Chilo, Ohio, to the late Arlee Tomas and 
Tressie Alice (Gravitt) Jones.  He is survived by his four daughters and sons-
in-law,; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Tomas Guy 
Jones; one grandson, David Ryan Chrisman; five sisters; and four brothers.
He was a member of Troy Freewill Baptist Church, Troy, and he worked at 
Cardinal Foods in Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 
Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Mark Snyder officiating. Interment 
will follow in Honey Creek Cemetery, Christiansburg, Ohio.
